Privacy Policy

My Cosmic Identity is currently an invited beta. This policy explains what the service collects and how it is used.

Information you provide

The service may collect your account email, birth date, birth time, birthplace, profile details, private journal entries, and feedback you choose to submit.

How information is used

Your information is used to create your account, calculate and present your Cosmic Identity, provide personalized prompts, save your journal, operate and secure the service, and respond to feedback or privacy requests.

Your journal

Your journal entries belong to you. They are private to your signed-in account and are not used for advertising. They will not be used to train AI without separate, explicit permission from you.

Storage and service providers

Account and private profile data are stored using Supabase. The website is hosted using Vercel. These providers may process information in countries outside your own under their applicable safeguards.

Birthplace and time-zone lookups

Birthplace searches send the place text through this website to Photon, using OpenStreetMap data. Selected coordinates are sent through this website to TimeAPI to resolve a time-zone identifier. Those lookups do not include your account identifier, birth date, birth time or journal writing. These services may retain request logs under their own policies. Optional local weather

Local weather uses an area you choose separately from your birthplace. The chosen area and pressure-display preference are stored in this browser for your account, rather than added to your birth profile or journal. A city search sends the city search text through this website to Photon, using OpenStreetMap data. Choosing the current-area option asks for browser location access; coordinates are rounded to approximately city-area precision before being stored or sent.

The website sends approximate area coordinates to MET Norway to retrieve and cache public weather forecasts. It does not forward your browser IP address, account identifier, birth information or journal content to that weather source. Website request logs may contain the city query or approximate area coordinates used in these requests.

Choose “Remove local weather” in the calendar to clear the chosen area from this browser. Removing it does not erase already cached public forecasts or service-provider logs. Browser storage can also be cleared through browser settings. Cosmic calendar reflections remain available without a weather location.

Optional app notifications

Notifications require your explicit permission on each device. The service stores the device push subscription, delivery keys, your account identifier, saved device timezone, notification choices and recent delivery identifiers in Supabase. Browser and operating-system push providers, such as Google or Apple, handle delivery. Daily and transit messages describe the shared sky. Optional personal energy reflections and light nudges use confirmed foundations calculated from your saved birth profile. New notification setups initially select confirmed chart details; you can select discreet wording without chart labels before saving. Existing saved device choices are preserved. When chart details are enabled on that device, its push provider receives labels such as your Sun or Moon sign, Human Design Type or Authority, which may appear on its lock screen. Raw birth date, birth time, birthplace and journal words are never included. Personal-weather links open reflections inside your signed-in account. The saved timezone is used for shift-alert quiet hours and daily limits.

Choose “Turn off on this device” on the app installation page to remove the saved subscription. Expired device subscriptions are removed when the delivery provider identifies them. Account deletion removes notification subscriptions. Each notification has a private expanded reading linked to its account. The service retains the message, shared transit and delivery time for up to 90 days, with expired readings removed during scheduled delivery runs. Account deletion removes these readings. The notification service worker does not cache profiles or journals.

Optional purchases and project support

When checkout is available, Stripe processes payment details. The website sends your account email and a purchase reference to Stripe, but does not send your birth date or journal content. Supabase stores purchase references, amounts, payment status and the Stripe customer or subscription identifiers needed for downloads and cancellation. The website does not store card numbers.

Deleting your account removes its purchase records and access to account downloads, and cancels active founding support before completing deletion. Stripe may retain transaction records under its own retention requirements. Download purchased files before deleting your account.

Retention and your choices

Information is kept while your account is active or as reasonably needed to operate the beta and meet legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your account data through the contact form below. Choose “Privacy request.” Include the account email you want the request matched to.

Age eligibility

This beta is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. Do not create an account for a child during this testing period.

Security and limitations

Reasonable technical controls are used, including signed-in access and database row-level security. No online service can promise absolute security. Please avoid entering highly sensitive medical, legal, financial, or crisis information during the beta.

This policy may change as the service develops. The updated date above will show when material revisions are published.
